Hurley is Made in the USA with Zogoflex^® , a recyclable, waste free, non-toxic material.  Zogoflex is free from any known sources of lead, cadmium, mercury, latex, natural rubber, phthalates, hormones, Bisphenol A, or asbestos.  It is also BPA, phthalate-free and FDA compliant (meaning you can safely eat off of this stuff, although we trust you to make that judgment).  And easy to clean being dishwasher safe. 

Not only safe, Zogoflex is extremely pliable and strong! While no toy can ever be completely indestructible, West Paw Design is so confident in the durability of their toys they guarantee them.  If your dog does happen to be one of the 1% of dogs that does manage to damage this toy, West Paw Design offers a one-time replacement or refund, just contact us for the details (proof of purchase is required).

About the black...  Just as awesome as its colorful cousins but to achieve its color, West Paw Design combines multi-colored materials they aren't able to recycle into one of our standard bright colors.  They mix those colors together to create a tough-as-ever dog ball that utilizes up to 120 pounds per week of previously not re-usable Zogoflex^® materials.
